“Whispers, Rumors, and a Dash of Confusion: ‘He Said, She Said, They Said, Who Knows?'”
Have you ever found yourself in a situation where everyone seems to be saying different things, and while they all sound sincere, you can't shake the feeling that someone is lying, or perhaps everyone is? I bet you have. It's not an uncommon scenario. However, it takes a different shade when the individuals involved are people you genuinely want to believe – whether it's due to the respect you hold for them, the assumption that you knew them well, or simply the desire for an honest encounter.
A wise individual once advised me, "Recuerda vivir tu vida sin dobles" (remember to live your life without duplicities). Throughout my life, I've tried to navigate my journey considering this principle. However, I acknowledge that it's not universally embraced. Why, at times, do people choose subterfuge and dishonesty? Now, don't get me wrong; I'm not claiming sainthood here. I recognize my imperfections. Yet, I believe life should be about more than gaining an advantage over others or manipulating someone for personal gain. Where is the value in that?
I started to observe that, at times, people react to situations as if they are under attack, and it becomes all about survival, with others ceasing to matter. This is when the "he said, she said" scenarios begin, leaving everyone in the dark about the truth. So, what should we do? Who can we trust to be honest with us? Well, I've discovered that with time and patience, certain truths will come to light. Even if what surfaces brings disappointment and hurt, the key is to learn from it and adjust your path. Ensure growth instead of withering away. Rise above the situation; don't allow others to burden you with things that aren't yours. Hold them accountable, make your stance clear, and in the end, it's not about what people say but what they do.
So, if the world was promised to you until that promise materializes, those were just pretty words without substance. Today, let's celebrate those individuals who have the fortitude to say and do what they promise, remaining true to themselves even when being fake might seem more "convenient."
Let's Make it Possible.
